The secret no one told us is that money has nothing to do with money at all. It all has to do with the connection we have with our root chakra and our own worthiness. Money is a man-made construct to create power over others but when we step out of the constraints of money, is when we really find our inner freedom. Each charka supports us in a different area of our life and when we talk about the root we're talking about the safety and security we feel in ourselves. When this center is optimally functioning we are not afraid of not receiving.

We all have a relationship with money from the time we leave the womb (even before that) until the moment we leave the planet ... there's no out-running this. How do you desire that relationship to feel and look? Odds are if you're anything like Erin, you're coming from the western thought and understanding of money and self-worth. This looks like a lot of scarcity energy, the fear of not being enough, having enough or ever holding enough, or even the idea that you are not worthy of money altogether. 

We are all people pleasers. There's no outrunning this. In this episode, we do a deep dive into where people-pleasing comes from and how to start letting go of this sneaky habit that seeps into so many layers of our lives. People pleasing and the severity of it within us, originates from our upbringing. For Erin that looked like, a "black & white" environment, meaning a lot of "if this then you get that" or "if this, then that" mentality. It looked like going to a Catholic school and being pushed purity culture and it looked like a lot of fitting in a box that someone else provided. 

We all have a body but how many of us have a relationship with our bodies that we actually feel proud of?! My body acceptance journey is the one I'm most proud of. The steps I took (and continue to) big and small in the last 3 decades to get closer to myself and all that my body can do has been my biggest accomplishment.
